Hyrule Castle

Standing tall upon the center of the Kingdom of Hyrule, Hyrule Castle serves as not only the home to the Royal Family of Hyrule but also as the governing and military center of the land.

The castle itself is highly defended, being surrounded on all sides by a moat with only a single apparent entrance from Hyrule Town. Within the castle walls, the path to the innermost sanctum where the throne room rests is highly protected on all sides, and much of the palace itself is built, nestled within the land itself, giving it a powerful natural defense.
