Zelda agreed with a nod at Ziel's words about what their father sometimes said. "Yes, believe me, I am not overly fond of them myself. I can understand their reservations on the subject, it is a difficult path." Zelda shook her head. "and father is correct, but at the very least we can do our best to make as many as possible, if not pleased, at least safe enough to live."
The crown princess laughed when the sister jumped at the mission she was just offered. "I do admire your eagerness sister, but I am not sure which path they are taking." She explained, finally standing up from her armchair, leaving the book on the table. (She had a habit of doing just that, leaving her books and forget where she left them when needing them later on.) "But I could make a guess and say that the most likely route they will follow is the one going through the breath of demise, across the bridge at Regencia River" She slowly adjusted her nightgown, putting the blanket over her shoulders. "I could be wrong of course, and they might make the choice of picking another path. No, I think the most prudent would be to remain here and await their arrival." She did not say more on that and instead walked to open the door leading out on the balcony. A small gust of fresh air hit her, causing her gown to shift slightly, but she did not walk out. "Which does pose a great opportunity for you to visit father, he would be happy if you did. He might not say it, but he worries about you a great deal, and I think it will help him get some sleep knowing that you are in the castle." Zelda looked at her sister and gave her a friendly smile.

"You made it sound like you wanted me to guard them during their journey, not during their visit, but I see. Well I can do that, I guess. If it means I get to visit father then sure. However, you know I hate doing all the noble stuff and taking care of pampered princesses". Ziel said.
She got down from the windowsill and looked at her sister. "Well. Should we both go and visit father, or must I go alone? I know you were trying to sleep, but perhaps father can shine light on your vision?".
Not that Ziel had anything against talking alone with her father, but if it were both of them, it was much more fun as Ziel and Zelda shared that connection that some twins do, finishing each others sentences and such, which always confused their father, much to their amusement.

"That is perfectly alright, I might have said it badly, sorry about that. I blame it on my lack of sleep" She laughed on her sisters comment about the princess. "I doubt you will find much pampering in this particular princess, from what I have heard you two are much alike. The lokomo royal family has a long history of being warriors, and if I recall correctly, one of their past queens had a policy that anyone who could defeat her in battle would get the throne" She gave Ziel a mysterious grin, before starting to walk towards the door out from the bedchamber. "No one did, of course, I am very curious to learn more about them, books will only get you so far."
"I do not object to visiting father together with you, I do not think I will be getting much sleep as it is. I could also.... call him here" As she said this she placed a hand gently on the side of her forehead, giving Ziel a playful wink. "But, I suppose it would be a little rude to make the king come to us... unless you think we should?" It was not that she did not like the idea of messing with their father, but it was more fun if Ziel was in on the idea. "I could go to my bed, and tell him I had another nightmare, and you can... well surprise him? I am sure you can find a fun place to hide. Come on Ziel... lets surprise father, he will be so happy to see you, and goddess know that he could use something to laugh about" She... did not always have to be the most mature sister, even if she had to be most of the time.

Ziel nodded. "Good. If she's a warrior, all the better. Then I don't have to deal with a snooty, spoiled brat". As Zelda suggested calling their father there to surprise him, Shiek smiled and stepped back into the corner in which she had stood before, fading into the shadows and becoming almost completely invisible. "Why, dear sister, that would be a delightfully cruel prank.. Let's do it", she said, not at all hiding the amusement in her voice. "You call him and warm him up, and I'll announce my presence when I feel it approriate"

Zelda grinned when Ziel agreed to the prank, quickly walking over to her bed the princess crawled back under the blankets and made herself comfortable in a sitting position. "Ok, I will try to reach him." Zelda closed her eyes, and tried to focus her powers in order to reach out, searching for her father. It did not take long before she found him. "Father, I am sorry to trouble you this late, but I must speak with you. I have had another one of my dreams..." Was what she told him, using her telepathic powers.

((NPCing the King since Dorn asked me to))
It took a minute or so, but there the king was. He opened the door and walked in, leaning slightly on his cane for support as he entered.
His expression softened, looking upon his daughter. Elphias approached her, seeming concerned. "What did your dreams tell you, Zelda?" He tilted his head slightly. "Are you well?"

Ziel watched the doors open and her father enter. She missed the big oaf at times, but this was the path she had chosen and given a second chance, she'd choose it again, so this was how things had to be. "She dreamt of a meeting that would take place here tonight, alongside her usual, cryptic dreams", spoke Ziel's voice from the corner. She walked out of the shadows while talking, a smile on her lips as she once again pulled down her mask to reveal her face to her father. "Hello you big oaf, it's been to long", she said to her father, an affectionate tone in her voice as she walked up to him. Ziel wasn't the type of person who initiated hugs, but if Zelda (or her father) wanted to hug her, she would hug them back.

The princess waited in silence, and her father arrived shortly after, leaning on his cane. He looked very tired, but she could see why he did not get much sleep either. But for a very different reason than his daughter. She smiled at him, it was a pale smile, but an honest one all the same. "Well, I would not go that far, I am... as good as I can be in regards to circumstances. But yes, I have had another dream... and it was different from before." She did not get further than that before Ziel spoke, revealing herself present in the chamber. Zelda looked at her sister and listened when she talked to their father. She could not say she approved of calling him the big oaf, but she was not surprised and did not want to comment on it. "and, there is some good news, as you can see, Ziel is back, and I knew it would make you a little calmer to know that." She took a deep breath of air, leaning back against the many pillows in her bed. She waited for a good opening to speak, seeing that she did have something to tell her father, apart from just getting him there to meet Ziel. "I saw something other than Ganon, the dream seemed different somehow father. There was shadows, large shadows. I could not tell if they had something to do with the enemy, or if it was something else. "

The king smiled, seeing his other daughter return. "In times like this, we are blessed for having family. I expect that your training hasn't been too taxing. The way of the sheikah can be very overwhelming for outsiders such as ourselves, Ziel."
Elphias then seemed to get ponderous. "Shadows could be anything, Zelda. Perhaps you feel that there are other dangers, but that is simply the way of the world, my daughter." He sighed. "The gods will only make things clearer when the time is right."
The king paced about the room, stopping by the window to gaze at the outside. "You two must be tired. You should get some rest, you've been given big responsibilities and a rested mind and body are the best tools for enduring them."
He looked back at the two. "And don't worry about meetings tonight. I believe tomorrow we might see some of the nobles, and perhaps some of the Champions may present themselves. But that is a concern for the morning, not for us to worry about this late." Elphias smiled, trying to give them some reassurance.

Ziel shook her head, still with a smile on her head though. So typical of their father, not mentioning his own problems and focusing on theirs instead. "I'm not that tired, really, but if we're going to entertain nobles, I guess we need to be well rested. I hope you don't expect Ziel to come home from abroad to babysit these nobles? I expect Shiek can aid them much better", she said, hoping she'd not need to put on a dress and be the adorable noblewoman the royalty expected of her. Ziel WAS abroad, getting married to some nobleman, or at least that was the rumor.
The King leaning on a cane did NOT go unnoticed. "How are you father? You seem to lean on the cane more than usual. Is something haunting you?".
