The center of the abandoned town. With armies diverted to all fronts and the Spire beyond the northern gates, the town square is left mostly empty. Reinforcements sometimes move through the area, but it is far more silent than the remainder of the city.

Jacobin had done his mission, he had disabled the witch, making sure she was taken out of commision if she was slowly dying she could do little to hinder the event that was going to follow. He could not say that he felt any kind of attachment, or personal pleasure, from doing what he had done. It was just a mission and nothing more, nothing less. Here he was again, back in the remains of Hyrule Castle town, how it had changed since his imprisonment, he had left so quickly from the castle that there had been no time to look around at the town itself. He had lost his cloak during the escape after his attack on the witch, he was dressed in his black inquisitor's uniform and watched as reinforcement moved past him in the town square. He was standing looking at the remains of the fountain in the middle of the square. Jacobin had little interest in the battle brewing outside of the gates, it had nothing to do with him and he had no interest in taking part in any of that.
But he knew those who he travelled with for a while was hot on his trail, they wanted to rescue their precious little witch from dying. He was rather tired of running away, and as an inquisitor, he was not the type to keep on running when he was trained to fight the enemies of the gods. At this point there was no use to run, he would wait for them to find him here, just to see what they would do next. He adjusted his gloves, brushed some dust from his left shoulder and sighed. In any case, he was ready for a conflict at this point, and he had been having the time necessary to prepare himself for it. How would they get inside to find him? Would they use disguises? Magic? Sneaking? Climb over the walls? The remains of the shackles around his arms rattled slightly as he raised his hand to stroke his hawk familiar over the head where she was seated on his shoulder.

Having made her way into the town, Elyssa was traversing stealthily along the alleways of Castle Town, making sure she was not spotted. On her back, she had Daervus's mask, but she would only use it if she got desperate, as she'd try to solve this as quickly and with as little a mess as possible.
She adjusted her hat and stopped in her tracks as a patrol walked by. She let out a sigh as soon as they were out of sight.
"Bloody 'ell..", she muttered. "I 'oped we could stay outta all the fightin', but 'ere we are..". That Jacobin had betrayed them and poisoned Lucy was sad, and although Elyssa never liked being dragged into the plans of a greater being (as Lucy was no doubt doing the bidding of some higher being), and preferred to be free, she still didn't want Lucy to die, so here she was, trying to stop the traitor. Not that she couldn't handle herself, but she'd prefer to be in the backlines, healing and motivating people with her songs. Oh Welp, couldn't be helped.
She turned to Sunan. "Waddya fink, love, what do we do?". She looked around the corner, and saw Jacobin. "I can see 'im, 'e's over by the fountain.. It smells like a trap, 'owever".

Sunan emerged from a shadow, peering through her hood at Elyssa. Even though they had all seen her true face in their journey, she still preferred to conceal herself. It was her own little way of honoring her tribe, now that she knew the truth of what happened to them - to all of Ikana.
She had never trusted Jacobin. Truth be told, she didn't trust anyone. It was best that way, really. Easiest for her to keep from growing attached. And yet, here she was, working to save Lucy. She didn't have a good personal reason for it, really. But what other option did she have? Go to fight in a battle she had no stake in? Waste away in a dead valley?
"It's clearly a trap of some sort," Sunan said. "But we have few options other than springing it. My blades are more than enough for him. If we cannot convince him to give us the antidote, I will take it from his corpse."

Elyssa nodded to the words of Sunan. "Yer right, luv, and if fings go too much souf, I've got me mask as well to back you up, that ough'a keep 'im on 'is toes for a while". She took a deep breath. Guess it was time to spring the trap then. "'Ere's the plan, luv. We walk out thea and talk to 'im, and if it comes to blows, we 'it 'im with all we 'ave, yeah? I COULD cook up some bad weatha if you prefa, or play you a song to boost your morale, not much else I can do at this point, and I'm not much in a fight, except to provide some support.. Unless I put on the mask, but I'd ratha not do tha'".
Elyssa stepped out of the alley, walking towards Jacobin. As soon as she was within line of sight of him, she held her hands up, not necessarily a signal that she surrendered, but that she meant no harm. "'Ello, Jacobin", she began, her voice a little colder than usual. "Look, we can make this easy for all 'o us. You give us the antidote, we'll patch our mate up and take oua leave, I don't wanna get involved in a war anyways, I wanna write and sing stories about it once it's ova, not be elbow-deep in it".
