Located at the far southwestern corner of Hyrule Field, Digdogg Lake serves as the passage between Central Hyrule and the Gerudo Territory. Though it is technically a part of Hyrule Field, the lake and its surrounding areas fall under the region encompassed by the Sacred Plateau and are ruled by the Duchess of the Plateau.
The lake is fed by both Regencia River from the north and from the River of the Dead by way of waterfall from the plateau itself before feeding out into underground aquifers and rivers. There are additionally several large stone formations that rise up from the lake bed, which are believed to be remnants of the old world from when it was reshaped. These are each connected by a series of bridges leading from north to south.

Behind the falls of the River of the Dead lay a cave. In any usual day, it would amount to nothing more than that. But in moonless nights, it was a passageway into the beyond. Remnant of a vile era, this pass would open ever so often, letting things through. The waterfall shimmered with a green glow, as a misty fog rolled in from within the cave. The creak of old wood echoed, and a ship made it through the waterfall. Its crimson sails were tattered, guided by a ghostly wind. The ship itself looked otherworldly, specks of wispy ectoplasm floating off of it as it moved into the lake by the bridge. Guiding the ship's helm was a woman of long green hair and golden eyes, dressed in a long coat with a cutlass by her waist. By her side was the captain, a man donning a long coat as well, and a plumed hat with a skull adornment. As they reached the open part of the water, he pointed with the cane in his hand northward, and the ghostly wind that guided the ship shifted direction, as the woman at the helm adjusted course. At last, they had made it into the Realm of Light.

Not too far from either the helmsman or her captain, standing at the railing of the ship's helm, stood a third. They stared over the railing back at the waterfall and lifted an arm from their side, shifting the folds of the softly shimmering cloak wrapped over their shoulders as they reached out toward the shimmer of the waterfall. Then, the glow faded away from both the waterfall and cloak alike. They curled their fingers, closing their hand, and gave a small nod.
Stepping away from the rail side, they shuffled over toward the captain and lowered their hood, revealing the elderly Hylian woman. Though she stood with a slouch, the woman still stood just about as tall as either of the other two there. Her expression was severe but gentle. "That was very careful trip. I was expecting more of a reckless ride from you, Little Norwiches. You're more cautious than you used to be, eh?" Veley gave them a wide smile and chuckled, glancing over and patting the captain's shoulder.

The captain raised an eyebrow at the elderly woman. "Well, you know. You only live forever once.", he commented, making light of the situation. "Also, I don't think getting lost between worlds is very fun. Even for someone like you." He told the lady.
"Also I don't let him steer the helm, after that time with the wind witch's lair." Lafsali spoke up.
Lucien attempted to maintain an innocent face. "Also that. I suppose trying to...borrow wealth from a her was a bad judgement call." He cleared his throat. "Anyways. We're here..."
The ship floated upwards, docking against the bridge itself.

"Well, maybe you do," veley said in reply. Veley gripped Lucien securely, ensuring the two them held eye contact. "Be mindful of when you are of returning. You have done good job so far. Would be bad for all of us if that changed. Delays could be quite costly."
Veley stepped away, moving to join the others that had joined them on the voyage and depart. After all, the old lady was nothing more than another passenger aboard the ship.

"Oh, I assure you. Care is my middle name. I've never done anything without weighing its consequences." Lucien told the old lady very casually as he received a glare from the woman at the helm.
After the passengers disembarked the ship, it floated downwards towards the water, and once more returned to the passage between worlds, leaving the Realm of Light behind.

"Yes, yes, of that I am sure. You weigh. And then you still do," the veley said with a laugh. Then the woman reached down into the depths of velare cloak and pulled out a crystalline orb. It's insides shimmered with a darkness, but its very center shone a prick of red. "Just keep eye out for crimson glow, eh?"
The orb was returned to its hidden position and veley gave the man a smile and a nod. With that, the woman turned about and joined the others, departing from the ship. And not another look was given back. Upon stepping off, the old lady vanished among the others that had arrived there. The new immigrants to the World of Light, its new denizens.
