East Castle Town serves as the center location for many of its central functions. Located along its roads one will find the offices of local nobles, Hyrule Cathedral, hospice wards, the post office, school, inn, and more. Wandering through the district, you might also find small off brand shops, such as for pawning, the selling (or simple loaning) of books, or other such small shops.
As with all sectors of the capital city, the outer edge of the sector is host to military barracks, especially for those who have only been temporarily stationed in the city. A prominent mark of its presence stands on the southern side of the district in the form of the town's primary guardhouse and watchtower.

Zora were not a common sight in the Castle Town, and so Yilom drew more than a few glances as she exited the inn. But she didn't truly mind. She was here as an emissary, and it was best that she drew a bit of attention, even it that attention came in the form of curious questions from children, about her and her home.
Yilom wandered through the roads of the district, taking in all the sights she could. Her meeting with the other representatives wasn't for another day, so she could afford to look at the local life for a while longer.

Over the past month, there had been criminal reports. Missing wares, stolen goods, arson... There was more as well, but these in particular seemed to spike all around the same time. The thefts had been clearly organized and the arsonist had never been caught. There was always the possibility that these were unrelated events, but the way they lined up not just once but multiple times over several months made it all the more suspicious.
Standing in the corner of the room, Bongol ran a finger down the report log zil had been provided with. Zar attention was only half-focused on the woman as she spoke, but it seemed to zim the incidents were being investigated as connected cases. Unsurprising, when they were so far apart, yet concerning.
The Sheikah snapped the book shut, stepping forward and handing across the desk back to the lady. "Captain, I admit that I am simply here to ask out of curiosity and we have no jurisdiction over these cases, but if I could provide my own input, I would advise seeking assistance from the Inquisitors' Office." The book was taken with an embittered look, though her look didn't seem to be in disagreement. The Sheikah took a step away, moving toward one of the tower windows and peering out over the town. "If there is trouble disrupting the peace of the kingdom, I would think it prudent that it be stopped before it is something that escalates to where it is our business. I don't wish for things to become even more trouble for you than they are now." Though it was not within zar intentions, the way they spoke sounded almost threatening.
Zil looked back to the captain. Still, the soldier stood behind the desk, clutching the log close to her chest as she looked back at zim. "Is that not fair, Captain?"
Bongol moved through the streets, leaving the city watch tower behind zim. It was the murders that concerned zim the most. There had been more than a fair few over the past months, but three in particular had already caught the attention of the Sheikah. Two arsons, leading to the deaths of two nobles, and then the murder of yet another– a Castle Town viscount who had been under Inquisition investigation. He had been slain terribly gruesomely. Typically murders of such high attention were reserved for the Inquisition, but when death of nobility became a pattern...
Zil hadn't been sent to Castle Town to ensure the security of the Royal Family– no, others had already been assigned such roles –but still zil couldn't deny zar curiosity. When risks began to grow, it would always fall upon them to ensure the protection of Her Grace's legacy. ...Or the protection of those they chose to trust. Zar eyes held upon the adornments worn by the lone Zora.
Picking up speed lightly till zil fell in stride with her steps, Bongol adorned a smile and bowed zar head momentarily in greeting. "Evening, Lady Yilom. I hope I'm not disrupting your exploration of the town this evening." Looking down, it seemed zar presence had attracted further attention from the local children. Well, it wasn't all too often Sheikah duties allowed them to freely roam the streets undisguised; perhaps, it was to be expected.

Yilom had heard about the crimes that had been increasing in Castle Town over the last month, but she paid them little mind. If she spent all her waking moments worried about the horrible things that might happen to her, she'd never get anything done. Better to keep going forward.
Yilom turned her head towards Bongol, and nodded to return the greeting. "Oh, good evening. There's nothing to disrupt, I've just been meeting the people here." She looked at the Shiekah, and tried to recall where she'd seen them before, but nothing was sticking in her mind. "I'm - terribly sorry, but do I know you? I can't recall seeing your face before."

Bongol frowned a tad, unable to help but feel somewhat flustered over zar amateur mistake. "Er no, I suppose not. We've never met. My name is Bongol." Zil gave an apologetic look, trying to salvage the situation. Zil looked up to the castle, its walls lit only by torches and the sliver of the new born moon. "I am here representing the Sheikah clan and will be joining you at that meeting we've all been called to join tomorrow. It is only natural to be aware of what you have accomplished." And for one such as themselves to know of her decorations.
"I hope you're enjoying your time in Castle Town so far. Have you been here long?"

"Word of my work has traveled this far, then? Although, I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that my name is known among the Shiekah, should I? I am pleased to meet you, Bongol." Yilom bowed towards Bongol, and if there was any ill will or even knowledge of zar mistake, it seems to have flown right by her.
"I arrived with the morning," she said. "I only intend to make the royal family and the nobles here in the Castle Town more aware of our diplomatic efforts in Lanayru. I hope to show that the Zora people are committed to continuing our relationship as cordially as we can."

"Hah, I suppose not," zil said in return, again smiling as relief washed over zim. With clasped hands, Bongol returned the bow, respectfully. "As you might expect, we do our best to keep up with all news of the realms." And of course, it did help that the Sheikah were now operating heavily in that region as well. With their top secret project heavily under way within all the regions surrounding the kingdom, it was now especially easy for them to keep up to speed.
Zil lightly tapped zar chin with a thoughtful expression. "I'm sure you'll do just fine then. If I'm to understand right, those Hyrulian nobles that have been asked to join will be coming in person, so it ought to be a good opportunity to socialize and meet with them. Unless that's not your sort of thing," zil said and gave a small laugh.

Yilom laughed in return. "I'd have to find a new line of work if I wasn't sociable. Besides, there is value in all forms of interaction between peoples, and I should be as present as I can." In truth, Yilom felt that the more "casual" gatherings were even better for learning about those she would hope to treat with. In formal gatherings, people tended to be much more guarded.
"I must confess, I have not met any of the Shiekah clan in my time as ambassador. I do hope I make a good first impression of the Kingdom of Zorana."

While Bongol and Yilom made a good example out of their respective people, the representative of the Lokomo seemed to have a different idea entirely.
There was a modest amount of cursing coming from a woman walking through the streets with her arms crossed. "...Idiots kept me out of the fun side of town...is everyone in this side so stuck up that they don't need a tavern?" She asked herself aloud, frustrated as she kept looking at the buildings around her as she walked the streets, hoping for even a sign of a good place to be.

"You'd be relieved to know that you're not too alone. It has been a fairly long time since spoken with any Zora myself. If there's any consolation, we're both just as likely to make fools of ourselves in front of the Hylians," zil said with a small smile. "And if we're lucky, they'll make fools of themselves in front of us and we can call it even."
Or maybe someone else would. Just as Bongol was about to say something more, they passed along by the other foreigner. Her comment alone wasn't enough to catch the Sheikah's attention, but the colors of her uniform passing by the corner of zar eye was somewhat different. Such prominent whites and blues weren't so common among Hylian civilians.
Subtle, wasn't this one.
Bongol glanced over toward Yilom again. "Say, how well do you handle alcohols? I saw a couple– eh, what's the... –drink houses on this side of town. We can just find something light and relax with the locals."
