The Countess studied Sunan in silence, letting her settle in her thoughts. It was a reassurance that there was a sense of comfort in her surroundings to say the least. No sense that they were enemies.
"It sounds to me that you are looking for a new purpose," she said. She pursed her lips. "Some wise men might suggest a lack of purpose in taking one's time and taking a moment for oneself. I am no wise man though. I disagree; I don't see the sense in having the spirit ground till it is no more.
"Enough about my philosophy." She shook her head. "What is it you're looking for? We welcome you of course, but I'm curious, what is it you're hoping to find in this new world?"

Aethelnoth decided to sit out this part of the conversation, looking over at Ashley and listening as she talked about her philosophy. He refilled his mug of ale and drank it in silence, paying attention like the rest of the soldiers.

Sunan took a moment to gather herself. Everything she had learned about Ikana was still fresh in her mind, as well as the knowledge that all of her spying over the last several years of her life had been for naught.
"I don't know. For so long, all I had was the mission. And now, it's gone. Everything I had is no more, and without it, what am I but a ghost of a forgotten land?" She looked back up at Ashley. "For now, I suppose I am simply seeking a different path from the one I have walked before."

"Forgotten..." The countess held onto that thought for a moment. Holding her hands in her lap, she spoke. "If I may be allowed, though it now be a ghost, perhaps your land need not be forgotten? You still remain, a fragment left from that place. You could pass on what knowledge you have of your old home. Perhaps, taking the chance to pass on what you know may help settle your heart. Should you wish to document it, of course.
"But that is something I will leave you to think about. As for a new path, I think that is something I can help guide you toward. I wouldn't call this snowy waste the most outstanding place to speak more deeply on such an intimate matter," she said. A brief glance was given toward Aethel before Ashley addressed Sunan again, raising a hand in his direction. "If you join Aethelnoth in his travels to the heart of Hyrule Kingdom, we can speak more privately and I can give you more direct assistance."

"I also believe that your people, your home, they aren't truly gone." Aethelnoth added, while stoking the firepit. "So long as you exist, they do."
The spirit then looked to his soldiers. "I would recommend that everyone starts setting up the tents. We have a long journey back to the heartland, and I intend on starting the journey at dawn."

"I... don't know. I was never privy to much. We have always been a very secretive people, only learning that which is essential to what we do. Only now do I realize how foolish it was." Sunan sighed gazed into the fire. She knew so little of her people, of her culture, and now it was too late to learn. But if even what little she knew could be passed down...
She shook her head. "In any case, it is not something to take to here. Perhaps once I have traveled with you to this heartland." Thoush she wanted little to do with Hyrule anymore, she also didn't exactly have many options.
